The West TN Regional AMBER Alert issued by the Memphis Police Department on July 17, 2006 has been upgraded to a Tennessee Statewide AMBER Alert.

We have received information that they were last seen Northbound on Interstate 85 at Chambley Tucker Road in Dekalb County, GA, at 6:30 a.m. on July 18, 2006. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has activated Levi's Call which is the Georgia Statewide AMBER Alert. Due to the direction of travel on Interstate 85 it is believed that they could continue to remain in the state of Georgia or travel to either the state of South Carolina or back into Tennessee.

Veronica Lopez a 16 year-old Hispanic female that was abducted by Cipriano Ovalle, on July 17, 2006 in Memphis, Tennessee. Cipriano is a 22 year-old Hispanic male. He is 5'5" tall and weighs 140lbs. Cipriano was last seen wearing a blue striped short sleeved shirt, blue jeans and red tennis shoes. He is armed with a tire iron that was used to assault the victim's boyfriend during the abduction. Veronica is 4'11" and weighs 170lbs. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown pants. The subjects are in a 2000 Red Ford Focus with TN license plate 423FRL.
